Alban d’Arguin a fait une carrière de management et de direction générale à l’international dans un grand groupe financier. Il est retiré aujourd’hui dans l’Ouest de la France où il travaille à la restauration d’un domaine entouré de vergers anciens. Il collabore épisodiquement à plusieurs revues sous forme de chroniques.
Passionné par l’ornithologie et les questions environnementales, il a participé récemment à la création d’une association opposée à l’implantation d’un parc industriel dans sa région. Confronté à l’aberration de ce projet « d’énergie du vent », il a décidé d’instruire objectivement et exhaustivement la question de l’éolien en France et des puissants lobbies qui en font la promotion.
Ce livre a pour objet de fournir au lecteur une vision aussi complète que possible de ce problème de l’éolien dans notre pays et démasque les alibis qui étayent la thèse du bienfait du développement de l’éolien, soi-disant indispensable à la France : la lutte contre le « réchauffement » climatique, l’extinction « imminente » des énergies fossiles et la « nécessaire » sortie du nucléaire.
Alban d’Arguin passe au crible le développement de l’éolien pour en comprendre les origines, les raisons, les objectifs avoués et inavoués, et les conséquences nuisibles de sa réalisation complète si elle n’est pas stoppée. Il fournit ainsi un outil de combat pour ceux qui désirent ardemment mettre fin à ce scandale d’Etat qui mêle atteinte à la santé et corruption organisée.
