Le diocèse de Florence, en Italie, a décidé de vendre, pour 700 000€, 8 000 mètres carré de terrain de sa propriété sis à Sesto-Fiorentino. A qui ? A la communauté islamique locale, pour que cette dernière puisse y bâtir une mosquée pour les musulmans du coin.
« L’archidiocèse confirme son engagement pour le respect et l’écoute des autres fois et traditions religieuses, en vertu de ce qui est enseigné par le concile Vatican II, en rappelant la centralité de la liberté religieuse, fondement de tout autre droit et de toute autre liberté » lit-on dans le document qui avalise le protocole de vente entre la Curie locale, la municipalité, l’université de Florence et l’Association pour la mosquée de Florence.
Cette opération a été totalement bénie par le cardinal-archevêque de Florence, Mgr Giuseppe Betori :
« La transformation de la société occidentale en société multi-ethnique, multi-culturelle et multi-religieuse est une réalité et un futur qui nous attend inéluctablement. »
Gageons que lors de l’inauguration future de cette mosquée, Mgr Betori, s‘il est encore de ce monde, y sera présent comme Mgr de Moulins-Beaufort fut présent à l’inauguration de celle de Reims. D’un côté à l’autre des Alpes, les évêques conciliaires s’adonnent à l’islamophilie active et pratique! Autre fruit pourri du concile Vatican II…
