L’ex-collaborateur du renseignement américain Edward Snowden a demandé la prolongation de son permis de séjour en Russie qui arrive à expiration en août, a annoncé hier son avocat russe Anatoli Koutcherena. « Nous avons rempli les documents concernant la prolongation de son séjour sur le territoire russe », a affirmé M. Koutcherena aux agences de presse russes sans donner plus de détails.
En France, Des députés du groupe d’études «Internet et société numérique» ont demandé hier à la France d’accorder l’asile à Edward Snowden, au côté de cosignataires de la pétition de L’Express en ce sens. «On demande que Snowden obtienne l’asile constitutionnel (…) qui est dédié en quelque sorte à des personnalités qui mènent des combats à portée universelle», a déclaré à l’Assemblée le député PS Christian Paul, entouré de quelques signataires et députés dont Patrice Martin-Lalande (UMP), Laurence Dumont (PS) ou encore Sergio Coronado (EE-LV).
