En Écosse, une loi appelée Public Boards Act, adoptée en 2018, réglemente les soi-disant quotas « rose ». En juin dernier, le gouvernement a adopté des directives pour préciser davantage la loi de 2018.
Dans les directives, on peut lire que pour être identifiée comme une femme, il n’est pas nécessaire de « s’habiller, regarder ou se comporter d’une manière particulière », mais qu’il suffit que la personne « vive continuellement en femme, en utilisant toujours des pronoms féminins, en utilisant un prénom féminin sur des documents officiels, sur le permis de conduire ou le passeport ou sur des factures ou des comptes bancaires ». Le groupe féministe Women Scotland a ouvert une bataille juridique contre ces directives.
La réalité ne doit donc plus être reconnue, mais créée à volonté. C’est la volonté qui crée la réalité et non plus l’intellect qui la reconnaît et meut la volonté pour qu’elle s’adapte aux comportements.
