Quelques mots, d’abord, sur l’auteur. Gilad Atzmon est un musicien de jazz né en Israël en 1963. Sa particularité ? Être un militant antisioniste et pro-palestinien et s’afficher volontiers en compagnie d’Alain Soral et de Dieudonné. Pas banal pour un juif israélien.
Du tribalisme à l’universel est présenté sous la forme d’un entretien. Gilad Atzmon répond aux questions d’Alimuddin Usmani, journaliste indépendant travaillant à Genève. Au mois de mai 2015, celui-ci avait interviewé l’ex-président tchèque Vaclav Klaus sur l’immigration. Un entretien prémonitoire.
Les questions d’Alimuddin Usmani sont pertinentes et permettent à Gilad Atzmon de nous éclairer par une critique du judaïsme vu « de l’intérieur ». La pensée talmudique, la notion de « peuple élu », le sionisme, le lobby juif, les opérations « sous faux drapeau », la question palestinienne, la politique internationale et le rôle de BHL, la gauche juive vue comme un « oxymore », le positionnement pro-immigration des organisations juives, les persécutions à l’encontre de l’humoriste Dieudonné, la « dissidence »,…, sont autant de sujets abordés sans ménagement.
Gilad Atzmon ne parle pas la langue de bois et ses répliques sont toujours cinglantes, telle celle-ci : « la politique israélienne est la continuation du besoin juif en faveur d’un conflit ».
Ce livre se lit d’une traite et ne laissera pas indifférent !
