Créé en 1987, le spectacle son et lumière « Scénographie de Pierre-Levée », à Olonne-sur-Mer, fête ses 30 ans cette année. Cinq représentations sont proposées du 3 au 9 août dans les jardins de ce château surnommé le « Petit Trianon de la Vendée ».
Pierre-Levée doit son nom aux deux menhirs situés à proximité du château construit par Luc Pezot. Ce riche armateur, échevin et receveur des tailles, entreprit de bâtir, entre 1774 et 1777, ce chef-d’œuvre d’architecture classique inspiré du Petit Trianon de Versailles, vraisemblablement sur un plan de l’architecte Gabriel. Mort sans héritier, son château passa à la famille Auvynet, dont les descendants occupent encore aujourd’hui les murs.
Le quartier général des insurgés vendéens en 1793
En 1987, un groupe d’Olonnais passionnés se lança dans un pari fou : réaliser un spectacle son et lumière dans ce cadre merveilleux. Trente ans après, cette aventure se poursuit grâce à une équipe de quelque 250 bénévoles, qui font revivre l’histoire de Pierre-Levée, de la Préhistoire jusqu’à nos jours, en passant par la construction du château et les Guerres de Vendée. Rappelons que Joly, qui commandait les insurgés de cette région, y installa son quartier général avant d’attaquer Les Sables-d’Olonne à deux reprises en mars 1793.
Les représentations de la « Scénographie de Pierre-Levée » auront lieu les jeudi 3, vendredi 4, lundi 7, mardi 8 et mercredi 9 août 2017, à 22h30. Le spectacle dure 1h30. Pour ceux qui souhaitent dîner sur place, un repas animé par un groupe musical est servi entre 19h30 et 21h dans le parc du château.

- Adulte : 20 € (forfait repas + spectacle : 30 €)
- Enfants (+ de 13 ans), étudiant, handicapés : 17 € (forfait repas + spectacle : 27 €)
- Enfants de 4 à 12 ans : 10 € (forfait repas + spectacle : 15 €)
