rameauxAujourd’hui nous sommes le dimanche des rameaux : l’Eglise commémore ce jour où le Christ entra triomphalement dans Jérusalem, adulé par le peuple juif qui l’installa sur un mulet et jeta des palmes sur son passage, réalisant ainsi les prophéties.

Cinq jour plus tard, ce même peuple juif réclamera sa mort à Ponce Pilate. Quand celui-ci dira à la foule : « je ne trouve rien de coupable en cet homme », le peuple juif lui hurlera : « Cruxifie-le ! ». Alors, lâchement, le gouverneur romain se lavant les mains : « je suis innocent du sang de ce juste » se verra répondre : « que son sang retombe sur nous et sur nos enfants ! ».

Une semaine avant de le faire crucifier, les juifs adulèrent le Christ.
