Etats-Unis – Susan K. Smith, ex-pasteur de l’Église Unie du Christ, l’une des multiples sectes protestantes, a déclaré que l’avortement était une «décision pieuse».
Comme LifeNews l’a signalé cette semaine, dans la soirée du 9 novembre prochain, la soi-disant Coalition religieuse « pro-choix » se prépare à «bénir» le centre d’avortement d’un planning familial de Planned Parenthood. Qui dirige « l’événement » ? Susan K. Smith, ex-pasteur de l’Église Unie du Christ.
«J’ai été pasteur de l’Église adventiste unie du Christ à Columbus, dans l’Ohio pendant 22 ans, mais j’ai maintenant lancé Crazy Faith Ministries, un organisme à but non lucratif, dédié au travail sur les questions de justice sociale. », déclare-t-elle.
L’annonce de cette soirée est tout simplement hallucinante et sacrilège :
Au cours de la bénédiction de la clinique, les participants se réuniront avec les chefs religieux locaux et des invités pour demander la bénédiction de Dieu sur le centre chirurgical East Columbus Surgical de Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio, les prestataires et le personnel de l’avortement, ainsi que tous ceux qui passent par le centre.
Pour célébrer la conscience et prendre des décisions morales, cet événement inclura des bénédictions interconfessionnelles, des prières et des témoignages sur la manière de recevoir et de fournir des soins d’avortement. Cette bénédiction dispensée dans les cliniques offrira aux voix de foi progressistes un espace leur permettant de parler avec audace en faveur de soins de santé complets en matière de reproduction, en particulier de l’avortement.
Dans l’annonce de cette soirée, Susan K. Smith a le culot d’affirmer que l’abandon d’un bébé est une décision biblique.
«Les avocats anti-avortement n’ont pas le monopole de la foi ou de Dieu. Beaucoup de leaders religieux et de croyants estiment qu’avoir accès à l’avortement et l’avoir fait est une décision bonne et pieuse », écrit-elle.
Shaun Carney de la campagne de prière pro-vie 40 Days for Life a condamné cette affirmation :
«Chaque avortement – à chaque étape – est barbare et ne peut jamais être justifié. C’est pourquoi ceux qui défendent l’avortement font appel à tout pour le justifier… y compris Dieu »
