Selon Philippe Gosselin, député de la Manche (LR), connu pour sa proximité avec La Manif pour Tous (LMPT), parmi le groupe parlementaire LR « 10 % à 12 % d’entre nous ne sont pas opposés à la PMA ». Ce qui rappelle la tribune pro-PMA signée par six députés LR en 2018…
Le gouvernement, enclin à satisfaire les revendications du lobby LGBT, sait donc qu’il ne trouvera face à lui, au sein de l’Assemblée nationale, qu’une opposition fragilisée et divisée sur le sujet. D’autant que le RN, qui semble plus clair sur la PMA que sur le « mariage » homosexuel, ne pèse quasi rien à l’Assemblée nationale ni au Sénat.
Et l’annonce d’Edouard Philippe à la veille des vacances estivales garantit au gouvernement de se prémunir des mobilisations massives telles que le pays avait pu en connaître contre le projet de loi Taubira dénaturant le mariage.
Ce ne sera donc qu’au cours des trois premières semaines de septembre qu’une opposition plus visible pourra trouver place. Un véritable défi pour les défenseurs de la famille !
