La gratitude se perd !
Le navire humanitariste italien, le Vos Thalassa, s’est retrouvé pris dans une émeute après avoir récupéré en mer 60 migrants. Ces derniers se sont révoltés contre les membres d’équipage. « L’équipage risquait sa vie » a déclaré le ministre italien des Transports Toninelli qui a ajouté sur tweeter :
« Je suis fier des gardes-côtes italiens qui avec le bateau Diciotti ont pris à bord 60 migrants qui étaient en train de mettre en danger la vie de l’équipage du remorqueur italien Vos Thalassa. Maintenant aura lieu une enquête pour punir les émeutiers. »
Selon les premières reconstitutions, certains migrants se seraient rebellés par peur de retourner en Libye. L’équipage après quelques menaces a été contraint de s’enfermer dans la salle des contrôles. L’intervention de Rome a été déclenchée après son appel au secours.
Pour le moment le bateau reste en-dehors des ports italiens le temps d’établir si le S.O.S. des migrants intercepté par Vos Thalassa ne se trouvait pas plutôt dans la zone de compétences des gardes-côtes libyens.
« Les gardes-côtes italiens ne peuvent pas se substituer à ceux libyens, surtout si les collègues africains sont déjà entrés en action »
a expliqué Matteo Salvini, l’actuel et ferme ministre italien de l’Intérieur.
