C’est une information signalée par Times of Israël mais aussi par d’autres médias, notamment américains : un couple de juifs orthodoxes accompagné de leur bébé a été expulsé d’un vol American Airlines en raison de leur odeur corporelle.
La famille Adler avait pris place dans un avion à destination de Détroit mais a été priée de descendre à l’escale de Miami. Le pilote lui-même aurait exigé qu’ils quittent l’avion. Et une porte-parole d’American Airlines a notamment déclaré que les membres de l’équipage étaient préoccupés par le confort des autres passagers, incommodés par des odeurs.
Débarquée à Miami, la famille Adler a été logée dans un hôtel par la compagnie aérienne et a pu rentrer chez elle le lendemain par un autre vol.
Les faits datent du 23 janvier. Mais la famille Adler vient d’annoncer qu’elle déposait plainte pour… antisémitisme, discrimination raciale et religieuse.
