Le 17 Juin a été publié au Journal officiel de Galice le calendrier scolaire de l’année scolaire 2015/2016, et un certain nombre de dispositions du Ministère de la Culture, de l’Education et de la planification de l’Université. En ce qui concerne les commémorations, l’article 8, paragraphe 2, indique que les écoles publiques de Galice pourront célébrer les fêtes en rapport avec les revendications des lesbiennes, gays, transsexuels, bisexuels et intersexes.
Le Parti Populaire en Galice a expliqué que les écoles publiques pourront célébrer, par exemple, la Gay Pride.
« Conformément aux dispositions de l’article 26.2 de la loi 2/2014 du 14 avril, pour l’égalité de traitement et la non-discrimination des lesbiennes, gays, transsexuels, bisexuels et intersexes en Galice afin de promouvoir la visibilité et intégrer transversalement la diversité affectivo-sexuelle, les écoles soutenues par des fonds publics pourront faire des activités spécifiques à l’approche de manifestations internationales liées à la reconnaissance effective du droit de ces personnes. »
