Des corps estimés à environ plus de 400 ont été enterrés nuitamment dans une fosse commune dans la commune de Maluku à Kinshasa le 19 mars dernier. Pour les autorités congolaises, par le biais du ministre de l’intérieur et sécurité, Evariste Boshab, ce sont des indigents, des personnes ayant rompu le tissu social avec leurs familles, des corps abandonnés, des corps non identifiés. Une version qui est contestée par plusieurs observateurs à commencer par les habitants de Maluku.
Au micro de notre consœur de Radio France Internationale, un habitant a déclaré : « « Pourquoi enterrer la nuit entre 2h et 4h du matin ? Et d’ailleurs en voyant ces corps je ne pense pas que ce soient des bébés ou des fausses-couches ».
Dans le même sens, plusieurs sources pensent que ces corps seraient des personnes mortes lors de la manifestation de l’opposition du 19 au 21 janvier 2015 à Kinshasa.
Mais cette version est rejetée par le gouvernement de Kinshasa qui est tout de même disposé à exhumer ces corps si la demande était faite ou si le moindre doute persistait. Affaire à suivre.
