Belgique – Des scellés ont été apposés vendredi après-midi sur les portes du centre culturel islamique Markaz Attawhid.
De tendance salafiste, ce centre culturel islamique Markaz Attawhid qui abrite une mosquée radicale et une école coranique clandestine, fait depuis plusieurs années l’objet d’une surveillance policière.
Soupçonné d’être en grande partie financé par l’Arabie Saoudite, ce lieu est connu pour ses prêches islamistes radicaux. Durant l’été 2015, une enquête avait été ouverte parce que le lieu était suspecté de servir à radicaliser des mineurs.
Mais c’est sous un prétexte mineur que le député-bourgmestre (PS) Willy Demeyer a signé un arrêt de fermeture du centre islamiste : le non-respect des normes sécuritaires.
Une réouverture prochaine des lieux n’est donc pas impossible si une visite des pompiers vient la valider.
