On nous prie d’annoncer le décès, en ce matin du 22 février 2021, du Révérend Père Bernard LECAREUX, Fondateur de la Fraternité de la Transfiguration.
Nous invitons tous nos lecteurs à prier pour le repos de l’âme de cet infatigable combattant de la restauration du règne du Christ-Roi [Voir ici un entretien de 2015 avec feu le RP Père (1)].
Ses obsèques seront célébrées le vendredi 26 février à 14 heures en l’église du Bois, Le Bois, 36220 Mérigny.
(1) Le père Bernard Lecareux, le fondateur de la Fraternité de la Transfiguration, nous parle de l’oeuvre qu’il a créée. Depuis qu’il a été chassé de son presbytère de Mérigny, il s’est établi avec l’aide de ses fidèles au Bois, un domaine qu’il a rénové et embelli, et qui accueille chaque année plusieurs centaines de retraitants. Sa communauté de dix prêtres, cinq frères et dix sœurs oblates tire sa spiritualité de Mgr Ghika, converti de l’orthodoxie au catholicisme et mort dans les geôles communistes roumaines. Son apostolat s’étend d’Angoulême à Montluçon, en passant par Niort et Poitiers, sur une dizaine de chapelles et écoles.
