Le comte Henri de Laborde de Monpeza est décédé le mardi 13 février 2018. Catholique de naissance, il a abjuré pour le protestantisme afin de pouvoir épouser la princesse Margrethe du Danemark en juin 1967 qui devint reine en janvier 1972.
Réputé capricieux et boudeur, le prince a refusé d’être inhumé au coyé de sa femme refusant d’être son égal dans la mort alors qu’il n’avait pu l’être dans la vie du fait de ne jamais avoir pu obtenir le titre de roi.
Catholique apostat pour une reine dont il ne fut jamais le roi, le prince Henrik de Danemark a comparu devant son Créateur. RIP.
