Steven Mosher, président de l’Institut de la recherche sur la Population et spécialiste des questions démographiques de l’Extrême-Orient, notamment de la Chine, collationne depuis des années les études concernant l’avortement. Un de ses correspondants du nom de Brent Rooney, qui est à Vancouver (Canada), a rassemblé douze études récentes concernant le Sous-Continent Indien trouvées dans les publications médicales de ce pays. Il a établi une correspondance entre le taux d’avortements et le cancer du sein. Il a constaté un taux étonnamment accru de cette maladie dans le cadre de l’IVG.

Effectuées à partir de plusieurs États et pays du Sous-Continent Indien on remarque la présence du Pakistan, Bengladesh et de Ceylan dans ces statistiques. La troisième colonne montre l’augmentation du taux de cancer du sein après un ou plusieurs avortements antérieurs. La quatrième donne le taux d’erreurs possible.
Le taux de cancer du sein se voit multiplié en moyenne de plus de cinq et demi pour cent sur l’ensemble de ces pays. Résultat d’autant plus étonnant que toutes les femmes de ces pays cumulent les facteurs de moindre risque connus depuis longtemps : mariage précoce, grossesses multiples, allaitement, non usage de substances hormonales notamment au moment de la ménopause. En pratique le contraire de ce qui se fait dans une grande partie des pays occidentaux.
Mais sous l’influence de l’idéologie, il y aura toujours quelques chercheurs ou associations qui diront le contraire, des politiciens pour les croire, et des femmes incrédules pour mourir.
