La banque d’affaires Goldman Sachs a désigné mardi son nouveau PDG : il s’agit de David Solomon, un banquier connu à ses heures perdues sous le pseudonyme de DJ D Sol !
Le 1er octobre, il remplacera Lloyd Blankfein.
«Aujourd’hui je n’ai pas envie de quitter Goldman Sachs (…) mais c’est le bon moment», écrit dans un document interne, obtenu par l’AFP, Lloyd Blankfein aux salariés de la firme. Il était aux commandes lors de la crise financière de 2008. En novembre 2009, Lloyd Blankfein avait comparé son travail à celui de Dieu: «Je ne suis qu’un banquier faisant le travail de Dieu».
Goldman Sachs a annoncé mardi un gros bénéfice trimestriel de 2,35 milliards de dollars, en hausse de 44%.
