L’État Islamique a revendiqué vendredi une fusillade contre des policiers danois. Le tireur était un trafiquant de drogue d’origine bosniaque. Il a été mortellement blessé lors de son interpellation.
C’est l’agence Amaq, organe de propagande de l’Etat Islamique, qui a présenté Mesa Hodzic, ce trafiquant de 25 ans comme un « soldat de l’EI ».
« L’auteur de l’attaque qui a visé la police de Copenhague (…) a mené cette opération en réponse aux appels à frapper les pays de la coalition », écrit Amaq.
Les faits se sont déroulés mercredi soir vers 23h00 à Chistiania, quartier libertaire du centre de la capitale danoise qui depuis les années 1970 abrite une communauté anarchiste et un important marché du cannabis.
La police était venue arrêter l’individu quand celui-ci a ouvert le feu, blessant deux policiers et un passant. Le tireur avait pris la fuite avant d’être repéré à Kastrup. Jeudi à l’aube, les policiers l’ont mortellement blessé alors qu’il tentait de s’enfuir.
D’après les enquêteurs, ce trafiquant de drogues avait « apparemment des liens avec Millatu Ibrahim [un groupe djihadiste apparu en Allemagne et implanté au Danemark] et des sympathies pour l’Etat Islamique ».
