L’équipe de Saje Distribution a communiqué les premiers chiffres du film Cristeros, une semaine après sa sortie en salle. Le film comptabilise plus de 20.000 entrées, ce qui est un bon score pour un film qui n’a pas profité de grande publicité mais qui a su mobiliser pour que cette sortie soit un succès. Sur les 15 nouveautés de la semaine, le film se classe 5ème et 15ème sur tous les films. Au niveau du nombre de spectateurs moyens par copie, le film est 3ème du classement. Les chiffres sont encourageants et de bonne augure et l’effet n’a pas tardé à se faire sentir.
La quasi-totalité des 61 salles reprennent le film pour une semaine supplémentaire et d’autres salles vont le mettre à l’affiche, confortées par le succès de sa première semaine de sortie. Les nouvelles villes sont Aix-en-Provence, Anglet (Bayonne-Biarritz), Arras, Chatou, Cran-Gevrier (Annecy), Enghien-les-Bains, Lagny-sur-Seine, Le Grau-du-Roi, Libourne, Lourdes. C’est assurément une initiative à refaire pour d’autres films qui peineraient à trouver un distributeur mais qui mériteraient d’être vus !
