Sur la chaîne de télévision LCI, le professeur Camille Locht, directeur de recherches à l’INSERM et à l’Institut Pasteur de Lille, et Jean-Paul Mira, chef de service de médecine intensive et réanimation à l’hôpital Cochin, débattent en direct de recherches menées pour tester le vaccin BCG – vaccin contre la tuberculose – comme traitement contre le coronavirus.
Survient un moment stupéfiant. S’adressant au professeur Camille Locht, le docteur Jean-Paul Mira dit :
« Si je peux être provocateur, est-ce qu’on ne devrait pas faire cette étude en Afrique, où il n’y a pas de masques, pas de traitement, pas de réanimation ? Un peu comme ça s’est fait d’ailleurs sur certaines études, avec le sida, chez les prostituées… »
A quoi le professeur Camille Locht répond en approuvant et en confirmant que c’est l’idée…
La séquence a largement été diffusée en Afrique, suscitant un tollé général et des réactions en cascade, condamnant unanimement le principe que l’Afrique serve de cobaye.
Beaucoup d’Africains y voient d’ailleurs la preuve d’un complot destiné à réduire la population africaine. Le nom de Bill Gates circule d’ailleurs souvent comme promoteur du vaccin BCG en Afrique.
