Le coronavirus a jusqu’ici tué 372 personnes en France, selon le dernier bilan officiel communiqué par Jérôme Salomon, directeur général de la Santé, vendredi 20 mars.
« Les cas augmentent puisque l’épidémie est en cours. Ils vont continuer à augmenter pendant encore au moins huit à dix jours. »
C’est ce qu’a expliqué le Professeur Gilbert Deray de la Pitié-Salpêtrière à Julien Courbet le jeudi 19 mars sur RTL. Mais il a aussitôt apporté une précision essentielle.
« Nous avons plusieurs centaines de patients qui sont guéris. Il faut aussi le dire tous les jours. Ce sont des patients qui ont vaincu le coronavirus. Comme vont le faire 98 à 99% des personnes qui vont être atteintes. Je ne dis pas ça pour atténuer la gravité de la situation mais pour dire qu’ensemble nous allons vaincre ce virus. »
