Le 22 octobre dernier Mgr Müller, préfet de la Congrégation pour la Doctrine de la Foi, a fortement réaffirmé dans un long texte que si l’Eglise se devait d’accueillir les divorcés remariés, ceux-ci ne devaient pas avoir accès à la Sainte Communion. Le texte a été diffusé en cinq langues, en réponse à une déclaration de l’ultra-progressiste Mgr Kasper disant que la doctrine sur le sujet allait évoluer. Ceci dans le quotidien allemand Die Zeit du 20 octobre répercuté par Radio Vatican le même jour. Cette opinion sera reprise par Mgr Gebhard Fürst de Stuttgart lors de la Session plénière du Comité central des catholiques allemands (ZdK) le 27 novembre dernier. Le 29 décembre l’archevêque émérite de Fribourg Mgr Robert Zollitsch lance un veritable défi dans une interview au journal allemande Die Weld. Il déclare que “Mgr Müller n’est pas le pape”.
Or le président de la Conférence des évêques d’Allemagne qui s’était déjà positionné sur la question en 2008 dans le magazine Der Spiegel a décidé de passer outre selon le site Lifesitenews du 7 janvier. Il considère que les divorcés remariés ayant demandé une annulation de leur premier mariage, et sans que celle-ci n’ai encore été accordée, doivent pouvoir recevoir la communion. Va-t-il oser franchir le Rubicon et se heurter de face à la doctrine traditionnelle de l’Eglise sur le sujet ? Que va dire et faire le Pape pris entre deux feux ? Affaire à suivre de très près.
