Dans la nuit du 20 au 21 juin, les forces de défense israéliennes ont exécuté une opération à Ramallah, en Cisjordanie, visant officiellement la société Pal Media. Cependant, les locaux de la chaîne russe d’information en continu Russia Today ont également été violemment investis. Les soldats israéliens ont emporté des ordinateurs, des disques durs et des archives et ont laissé derrière eux des bureaux dévastés.
Le ministère russe des affaires étrangères proteste bien sûr contre ce raid militaire injustifiable et réclame la restitution à la chaîne Russia Today du matériel saisi.
