Mexique – Le Festival International du Cinéma de Guadalajara réaffirme son appui au lobby LGBT
18 films de 14 pays dont les thèmes tournent autour de la « diversité sexuelle » forment la sélection officielle du prix Maguey qui pour la troisième année consécutive se remettra lors du 29ème Festival International du Cinéma à Guadalajara (FICG29), du 21 au 30 mars prochain.
Cette section du festival intègre des productions cinématographiques orientées selon le prisme LGBT.
Cette année, seront en compétition les films Free fall (Allemagne), Snails in the Raink (Israël), La dune (France-Israël), Test (EUA), Sarah prefers to run (Canada), Off road (Italia), Cuatro lunas
(Mexico), Gerontophilie (Canada), Out in the line up (Canada), Tom à la ferme (France-Canada), Floating skyscrapers (Pologne), Ignasi M (Espagne), Land of storms (Hongrie-Allemagne), Getting go; the go doc project (EUA), Julia (Allemagne-Italie), Dual (Slovénie), Pelo malo (Venezuela) y Hoje Eu quero voltar sozinho (Brasil), ce dernier ayant gagné les Teddy Award 2014.
Comme lors des éditions précédentes, cette année cinq prix seront remis, dont le prix Maguey considéré dans ce milieu comme le plus prestigieux. Le prix Maguey du meilleur film sera décerné par des personnalités de l’industrie du cinéma « Queer ». Et revoilà la théorie du genre qui « n’existe pas »…
En outre, dans le cadre des activités du prix Maguey, les organisateurs ont demandé au directeur du Porn Festival de Berlin, Jürgen Brüning, de présenter ce qu’il considère comme « le meilleur du film porno ».
Une démonstration, une fois de plus, de la connexion étroite entre le lobby LGBT et le monde de la pornographie.
