World Watch List 2020 présente la liste des pays où les chrétiens sont persécutés. Le pire Etat pour vivre pour un chrétien reste la Corée du Nord communiste. Mais dans le monde, le premier persécuteur du christianisme reste l’islam. Il l’est dans 23 des 34 pays où la persécution est « très importante » et dans 4 des 5 Etats où la persécution est « importante ».

Open Doors USA  a publié le 15 janvier sa liste des 50 Etats dans lesquels les chrétiens sont les plus durement persécutés. Les résultats de la World Watch List 2020 se réfèrent à la période allant du 1er novembre 2018 au 31 octobre 2019 et concernent une centaine de pays.

Les chrétiens menacés par la persécution sont 260 millions, 15 millions de plus qu’en 2018.
