Bien que la présidente socialiste du Chili, Michelle Bachelet, ait signé le projet de loi, au mois de janvier 2015, qui dépénalisait l’avortement, la victoire n’est pas encore acquise pour ce gouvernement qui essaie de faire pression pour que le Congrès valide cette ignominie.
Déjà en janvier, Mme Bachelet avait prévenu que ce projet de loi « était un thème sensible car le Chili est un pays pluriel où cohabitent différentes sensibilités religieuses, philosophiques et culturelles », et elle avait rajouté : « on n’est pas toujours d’accord sur des conceptions de vie mais en tant que communauté, on ne peut pas renoncer à l’idée du bien commun et des règles partagées ».
Pour son gouvernement, renfoncer les « droits de la femme » a été une priorité dès le début. C’est pourquoi on a vu un rapprochement qui s’est fait entre ceux qui sont en faveur de légaliser l’avortement et des institutions comme Amnesty International. Aujourd’hui, cette ONG se permet de faire pression auprès de la population pour tenter d’accélérer les votations au sein du congrès.
Selon Amnesty International : « la pénalisation totale de l’avortement crée un climat de crainte et nuit gravement l’attention médicale donnée aux femmes enceintes qui veulent se faire avorter ». C’est quand même ahurissant qu’une organisation qui se dit « en faveur des droits de l’homme » et qui tente de lutter contre les abus, les injustices et les vexations contre l’humanité, ne veuille pas reconnaître le droit à la vie, et ne défende pas l’enfant à naître.
Non seulement le peuple chilien subit les conséquences d’un gouvernement socialiste, mais également, il doit faire face à des institutions qui veulent détruire l’unité du pays en obligeant le même gouvernement à continuer sa lignée d’annihilation de sa propre société.
Une démocratie qui crée des lois contre son propre peuple, devrait-elle être au pouvoir ?
