En 2020, les Français seront appelés à nouveau aux urnes. Cette fois pour les élections municipales. Civitas n’a de cesse de répéter qu’il s’agit là de l’échelon le plus naturel de la vie politique. Et Alain Escada, président de Civitas, insiste depuis plusieurs années sur l’importance de s’emparer de responsabilités dans les municipalités.
C’est donc logiquement que Civitas propose aux catholiques et aux patriotes, identitaires, nationalistes, royalistes ou plus simplement encore aux Français fiers de l’être et attachés au Pays Réel de participer à une université d’été consacrée à la préparation des élections municipales de 2020.
Outre différentes conférences situant cet enjeu dans l’ensemble de ses perspectives (de l’histoire de la commune et de ses pouvoirs aux problèmes moraux qui peuvent aujourd’hui être rencontrés lorsqu’on est un élu municipal, en passant par la dimension stratégique de la commune malgré la dépossession de compétences par les communautés de communes et intercommunalités), cette université consacrera un temps très important à la préparation concrète, en petits groupes, à la participation à une telle élection (comment constituer une liste, quel est le calendrier et la législation électorale, comment organiser une campagne, comment se rôder à la communication politique). Pour l’occasion, plusieurs élus municipaux viendront faire profiter de leur expérience.
