C’est passé trop inaperçu. Le rapport de la Cour des comptes sur la Sécurité sociale publié en septembre 2017 révèle que plus de 53.000 bénéficiaires inconnus résidant à l’étranger touchent une pension de retraite française alors qu’ils n’y ont pas droit.
Le rapport souligne notamment les nombreuses fraudes en Algérie, où la France verse plus d’un quart des retraites à l’étranger. Avec une liste de bénéficiaires qui ont une extraordinaire longévité. La Cour des comptes relève parmi les fichiers transmis par les caisses de retraite obligatoires et complémentaires un nombre suspect de vieillards plus que centenaires. Le plus âgé des bénéficiaires algériens d’une retraite française aurait 117 ans. Une autre aurait 116 ans, deux 115 ans, une 113 ans, deux 112 ans,…
