L’incident aura peut-être échappé à certains mais Greenpeace s’est illustré hier soir lors d’un match de poule de la Ligue des Champions. Quatre militants de Greenpeace ont perturbé le début de la rencontre entre le club suisse de Bâle et les Allemands de Schalke, en déployant une banderole hostile à Gazprom, sponsor de la compétition. Les quatre hommes, vêtus d’orange, sont descendus du toit du stade Saint-Jacques en rappel et déployé à mi-hauteur une grande banderole jaune sur laquelle était écrit en gros « Don’t foul the Arctic » (ndlr:n’abîmez pas l’Arctique) à destination du géant russe de l’énergie, sponsor principal de la Ligue des champions et de Schalke. Le match a été interrompu quelques minutes et a repris après que les quatre militants soient remontés sur le toit, où ils ont été arrêtés. Notons que Michel Platini, président de l’UEFA, assistait au match.
On se souvient que l’action des Hommen lors de la finale de Roland Garros avait fait la une des journaux, avec de nombreuses réactions politiques. Certains avaient passé plus de 48h en garde-à-vue. C’est vrai qu’un match de poule de Ligue des Champions est moins important qu’une finale de Roland Garros mais laissez-moi douter d’une réaction réciproque !
