Afin de commémorer les 100 ans de l’Armistice du 11 novembre 2018, une exposition est organisée du 6 au 11 novembre 2018, à la salle des fêtes de Nuret-le-Ferron, de 14 h à 18 h.
Consacrée aux hommes du village partis combattre en 14-18, cette manifestation présentera les biographies de 77 soldats morts lors du conflit et de 6 grands blessés de guerre, ainsi que la liste des tous les habitants de la commune ayant participé à la Première Guerre Mondiale.
Un travail qui permet d’appréhender la mobilisation dans un petit village berrichon et le traumatisme durement ressenti dans nos campagnes où toutes les familles ont été touchées, comme le démontre un arbre de cousinage qui présente les liens de parentés de 39 Poilus morts pour la France.
