L’actrice Carrie Fisher est surtout connue pour avoir interprété le rôle de la Princesse Leia dans les premiers films « Star Wars« . Elle est morte à 60 ans, des suites d’une crise cardiaque.
Simon Halls, le porte-parole de la famille Fisher, a confirmé à plusieurs publications qu’elle est décédée mardi matin.
Carrie Fisher avait été admise en soins intensifs au centre médical d’UCLA après avoir subi une crise cardiaque le vendredi pendant un vol entre Londres et Los Angeles.
Carrie Fisher était née à Beverly Hills, en Californie, en 1956. Ses parents sont deux vedettes: le chanteur Eddie Fisher et l’actrice Debbie Reynolds. Ses grands-parents paternels étaient des immigrants juifs russes.
Au cours des dernières heures, de nombreux médias juifs ont estimé nécessaire de préciser que Carrie Fisher était née d’un père juif et qu’elle avait déclaré à La semaine juive de Californie du Nord qu’elle assistait souvent à des services religieux le vendredi soir et partageait les repas de Shabbat avec des amis orthodoxes.
