Le Times of Israël annonce que, « selon une indiscrétion du journaliste Fréderic Haziza », Gil Taïeb pourrait être candidat du parti d’Emmanuel Macron La République En Marche ! dans la 5e circonscription des Hauts-de-Seine.
C’est sur Twitter que Frédéric Haziza a fait cette annonce. Gil Taïeb représenterait le parti de Macron dans la 5e circonscription des Hauts-de-Seine, autrefois représentée par Patrick Balkany, actuel maire de Levallois-Perret.
Mais qui est Gil Taïeb ? Président de l’Association pour le Bien-être du soldat israélien (ABSI), vice-président du Fonds Social Juif Unifié, vice-président du Conseil représentatif des institutions juives de France (CRIF) et membre du Consistoire de Paris, Gil Taïeb, exerce la profession de dentiste.
Il avait déjà été candidat en 2012 dans la circonscription des Français résidant en Israël.
