Canada – Fusillades à Ottawa. Si la situation reste confuse, il se confirme qu’un des tireurs a été abattu par la police. Radio Canada précise que des tirs ont été signalés dans trois endroits différents : le Parlement canadien, les abords du Centre Rideau (centre commercial) et le Cénotaphe (monument militaire commémoratif) devant lequel a été blessé un soldat.

L’ambassade américaine à Ottawa est barricadée. Elle se situe près du Centre Rideau.

Des mesures de sécurité se prennent un peu partout. L’Hôtel de Ville de Montréal vient d’évacuer tous les visiteurs. Les portes de l’ambassade du Canada à Washington sont verrouillées. La cérémonie prévue à Toronto avec Malala, prix Nobel de la Paix, est annulée.
