L’ancien Premier ministre britannique David Cameron pronostique la fin de l’euro, qui s’accompagnera simultanément d’un coup très dur porté contre une Union européenne en voie d’émiettement.
«La monnaie unique européenne défaillante pourrait s’effondrer dans quelques années», a-t-il déclaré lors d’une rencontre à l’université DePauw dans l’Etat d’Indiana, aux Etats-Unis. «Il ne fonctionne pas comme prévu», a ajouté David Cameron.
«Un certain nombre de pays ont vu des décennies de croissance perdues − ces pays ont une monnnaie unique, mais ils n’ont pas de système fiscal commun. Cela crée des disparités importantes. Vous, vous avez aux Etats-Unis des possibilités qui vous garantissent de payer moins d’impôts dans le cas d’une mauvaise année. De telles mesures n’existent pas en Europe», exposa Cameron devant les étudiants.
