A Bruxelles, dans la commune d’Anderlecht, le quartier Peterbos, où se concentre une population d’origine maghrébine, est fréquemment le lieu d’agressions et de faits de violences.
Dimanche soir, des contrôleurs de la STIB, le réseau bruxellois des transports en commun, en ont fait les frais. Lors d’un contrôle des titres de transport, trois agents de la STIB bloquent un resquilleur qui fait appel à ses congénères. En quelques instants, c’est une trentaine de maghrébins qui se jettent sur les agents de la STIB, les tabassent et les dépouillent.
Pour les médias, pas d’allusion à l’origine des agresseurs. Ce sont simplement des « jeunes », selon l’expression consacrée. Bien sûr, il n’y a pas eu la moindre arrestation.
