Bruxelles – Mardi soir, un homme armé d’un couteau selon les uns, d’un pistolet selon les autres, a retenu en otage des clients dans un magasin Carrefour Market de la chaussée d’Alsemberg à Forest.
L’individu s’est finalement rendu à la police, mains sur la tête et a été arrêté.
L’affaire reste étrangement très confuse. Comment et pourquoi un seul individu a retenu une trentaine de personnes en otages sans émettre de revendication particulière ? Certains médias belges évoquent un cambriolage qui aurait mal tourné.
Mais le plus original dans l’histoire, c’est que le preneur d’otages est Nouredine Ouartassi, le fils de l’échevin socialiste Ahmed Ouartassi, échevin des Sports, de la Petite Enfance et de l’Extrascolaire.
Nouredine Ouartassi avait déjà été impliqué en 2011 dans un homejacking à Forest.
