Les paisibles habitants du village Bia au nord Cameroun ont été terrorisés dans la nuit de jeudi à vendredi par les terroristes de Boko Haram faisant 19 morts dont une majorité des victimes ont été décapitées.
« Des nombreuses cases ont été incendiées », ont précisé des sources sécuritaires.
Les forces de sécurité n’ont pas réagi à temps pour repousser les terroristes de Boko haram : « Nous avons noté une réaction tardive de nos forces (de défense) », ont-elles reconnu à propos de l’attaque sur les hameaux de Bia 1 et Bia 2 qui se trouvent dans une zone comprenant plusieurs bases et installations militaires camerounaises.
Pour les services de sécurité, le village de Bia est connu pour être une localité où Boko Haram a déjà recruté plusieurs jeunes hommes. Ce village est situé dans l’arrondissement de Kolofata, dans la région Extrême-Nord du Cameroun, région frontalière avec le Nigeria et cible de plusieurs attaques menées par les islamistes nigérians.
Notons que le Cameroun est engagé dans la guerre contre Boko Haram depuis près d’un an, il a été rejoint dans la campagne depuis début février par le Tchad, suivi du Niger.
Les forces de ces trois pays ont affaibli les terroristes de Boko Haram.
