La bière halal ? Aussi surprenant que cela puisse paraître, c’est déjà en 2010 qu’est apparue la Sultane, la première bière belge halal. Dans d’autres pays aussi, la bière halal a fait son apparition.
Plus étonnant encore, même l’Etat Islamique vendrait sa propre bière halal selon l’armée irakienne qui a diffusé les photos de vidanges trouvées sur le front.
Dès lors, la nouvelle Kriek (bière à la cerise) Emir n’est donc qu’une version de plus sur ce marché.
Mais c’est son nom qui pourrait poser problème. Un journal koweïtien avait envoyé une équipe faire un reportage au sein de la brasserie belge qui produit cette bière mais, au retour, un journaliste a prévenu la direction de la brasserie qu’une bière appelée Emir pouvait être jugée inconvenante et irrespectueuse envers les émirs. Le reportage ne sera donc pas publié et la Kriek Emir ne sera pas de sitôt vendue dans les boutiques du Koweït. A défaut, la Chine et la Norvège seraient intéressées. Le marché musulman est plus étendu qu’il n’y paraît…
