Etats-Unis – Joe Biden – que des naïfs manipulés par les médias imaginent être catholique – a annoncé mardi qu’il nommait ministre adjointe de la Santé dans son nouveau gouvernement le transgenre Rachel Levine, actuellement secrétaire d’Etat à la Santé dans l’Etat de Pennsylvanie.
« Elle représente un choix historique et extrêmement qualifié pour aider à mener les politiques de santé de notre administration« , a écrit Joe Biden, qui deviendra le 46e président des Etats-Unis ce mercredi.
Rachel Levine « apportera le leadership ferme et l’expertise cruciale dont nous avons besoin pour guider les gens à travers cette pandémie, peu importe d’où ils viennent, leur race, religion, orientation sexuelle, identité de genre ou leur handicap« , a-t-il ajouté.
Aujourd’hui secrétaire d’Etat à la Santé de Pennsylvanie, en charge du dossier Covid dans cet Etat, et professeur d’université en psychiatrie, Rachel Levine « est sur le point d’être la première responsable fédérale ouvertement transgenre à être confirmée par le Sénat américain« , a précisé l’équipe de Joe Biden dans un communiqué.
Rachel Levine, né Richard Levine, a grandi dans une famille juive et a fréquenté l’école hébraïque, selon The Jewish Chronicle of Pittsburgh du 24 juin 2015.
Rachel Levine a été membre du conseil d’administration d’Equality Pennsylvanie, lobby LGBT local.
Les démocrates prendront cette semaine le contrôle de la chambre haute, qui doit confirmer les nominations présidentielles.
