Le jeudi 3 mars 2016, à la Faculté de droit de Clermont-Ferrand, et à l’invitation de l’Alliance française, Bernard Lugan devait prononcer une conférence ayant pour thème la Déstabilisation de la Libye, suivie d’une séance de dédicaces de son dernier livre Histoire et géopolitique de la Libye.

Un comité « antifasciste » se réclamant du très actuel « communisme maoïste » ayant appelé à manifester contre la venue du conférencier, Madame le doyen de la faculté, en place d’un solide et salutaire éclat de rire, décida, avec la force de caractère propre à nombre d’universitaires français, d’annuler purement et simplement cette conférence ; qui plus est, au dernier moment. Plus encore, Madame le doyen rendit directement compte aux commissaires politiques qui lui avaient dicté leurs ordres au moyen de l’insolite message facebook suivant :

 

 

Indignés de la mise en dhimmitude de leur doyen par une poignée d’énergumènes pensant encore vivre à l’époque du « petit livre rouge », et face à la démission de la bourgeoise Alliance française, les étudiants de Clermont-Ferrand réussirent, dans l’urgence, à louer une salle en ville. La conférence s’est donc tenue quasiment à l’heure prévue, devant un public très nombreux et particulièrement enthousiaste.

Dépités par leur échec, armés de barres de fer, de planches à clous et lançant des pavés, les gentils et doux démocrates du comité « antifasciste » tentèrent alors d’attaquer l’hôtel qui abritait la réunion. Mal leur en a pris après que, spontanément sortis de la salle, des participants les eurent virilement chargés et copieusement corrigés. Pour les trente ou quarante héritiers de Mao Tsé Toung qui avaient tenté l’aventure, la soirée se termina piteusement, par une « longue marche » en forme de fuite panique à travers les rues humides de la cité arverne…

Cette lamentable affaire met certes en évidence la grande faiblesse de Madame le doyen de la faculté de droit de Clermont-Ferrand, mais elle illustre d’abord la superbe capacité de réaction de ses étudiants. Qu’on se le dise !
