Un suspect a été entendu dans l’agression du commissaire lors de la manif
La police avait diffusé hier un avis de recherche accompagné de la photo de l’individu soupçonné d’avoir agressé le commissaire de police Pierre Vandersmissen en marge de la manifestation syndicale du 24 mai à Bruxelles.
L’homme, dont la photo avait été diffusée à la télévision, s’est livré à la police. Il a reconnu les faits, a annoncé le parquet jeudi midi.
Il s’agit de Tanguy F, un Hennuyer de 44 ans. Sur sa page Facebook, l’individu affiche clairement ses sympathies pour l’extrême gauche et le PTB (parti néo-stalinien-maoïste).
Le parquet veut faire comparaître l’agresseur présumé pour coups et blessures volontaires. Il risque une peine de cinq ans de prison. Mais Sven Mary, l’avocat du commissaire de police, porte plainte pour tentative d’homicide, ce qui pourrait lui valoir une peine bien plus lourde. « Ce n’était pas frapper quelqu’un de manière anodine. Les images montrent comment cet homme s‘est approché de la victime par derrière de manière très lâche. Pour cela, il a pris de l’élan afin de le frapper le plus fort possible – probablement avec un pavé. C’est une arme potentiellement mortelle, tout comme un couteau, un revolver ou une kalashnikov », commente-l’avocat.
