Belgique – Ce dimanche, après le journal télévisé de 13h sur RTL Tvi, Benoît Lutgen était l’invité d’une émission de débat animée par le journaliste Pascal Vrebos.
Dans le royaume de Belgique en pleine campagne électorale, Benoît Lutgen est le président du Centre Démocrate Humaniste (CDH), autrefois appelé Parti Social-Chrétien (PSC), lui-même pâle héritier du Parti Catholique. Rien que cette évolution des appellations témoignent révèle le glissement idéologique qui l’accompagne : des chrétiens honteux en pleine rupture avec la doctrine catholique mais désireux de tenter de conserver malgré tout un électorat vaguement conservateur.
Pour en revenir au débat télévisé d’aujourd’hui, le journaliste Pascal Vrebos demande : « Aujourd’hui, est-ce que vous voteriez l’avortement ?« .
Réponse de Benoît Lutgen, président du CDH, la formation politique francophone démocrate-chrétienne : « Plutôt oui, mais ça dépend les modalités« .
Et il y a encore des chrétiens belges pour voter pour un tel parti ?
