Le FPÖ se cherche des alliés en Europe de l’Est : «Des pays ayant la même culture»
Comme l’a rapporté Profil dans sa livraison d’aujourd’hui, le candidat à la présidence Norbert Hofer s’est exprimé de façon inhabituelle sur le rôle de l’Autriche en Europe dans un entretien accordé à l’écrivain et journaliste suédois Carsten Jensen. Entretien dont l’intégralité sera publiée le 4 décembre, jour du scrutin à la présidence, dans le quotidien suédois Dagens Nyheter. D’ores et déjà, un extrait donne le ton :
«Nous avons d’un côté les acteurs majeurs que sont la France et l’Allemagne − et antérieurement les Britanniques et les Etats du Benelux − qui sont très puissants. Je cherche des alliés pour un modèle nouveau, qui pourraient être la Hongrie, la Tchéquie, la Roumanie, la Serbie, la Slovénie, la Croatie, donc des pays ayant la même culture.» Nous avons été une fois en monarchie et pourrions peut-être «lors de séances du Conseil de l’Europe, déterminer une ligne qui nous donnerait plus de poids.» Hofer considère que créer ce contrepoids sera sa «plus grande tâche si je suis élu».
Rapprocher l’Autriche de l’Europe centrale et balkanique est visiblement dans les plans de Norbert Hofer…
