Nous avions vu dans un précédent article quelles étaient les marques automobiles les plus prisées dans chaque pays d’Europe. Nous possédons désormais des données pour l’ensemble de la planète, du moins, pour un nombre conséquents de pays.
Renault et ses filiales Dacia, Samsung, Lada, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Datsun, Venucia et Infiniti est pour le premier trimestre 2017 la première marque mondiale en matière de ventes automobiles, avec 5,27 millions de voitures vendues, dépassant donc Volkswagen.
Pour l’Europe, quelques changements par rapport à l’article :

– Dans le monde, c’est Toyota qui se taille la part du lion : Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaïque, Porto Rico, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Pérou, Paraguay, Argentine, Uruguay, Mali, Soudan Ouganda, Kenya, Tanzanie, Botswana, Zambie, Namibie, Afrique du Sud, Malawi, Madagascar, Jordanie, Liban, Koweït, Qatar, Oman, Emirats Arabes Unis, Yémen, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Mongolie, Myanmar, Thaïlande, Singapour, Indonésie, Papouasie-Nouvelle-Guinée, Philippines, Hong Kong, Taïwan et bien entendu Japon. Les autres entreprises japonaises arrivant en tête dans au moins un pays sont Suzuki (Bolivie, Inde et Sri Lanka), Honda (Bahamas), Mitsubishi (Gambie), Nissan (Ile Maurice), Isuzu (Zimbabwe).
– L’entreprise Hyundai, rallie les suffrages du Népal, de l’Arabie Saoudite, de la République Dominicaine, et bien sûr de la Corée du Sud. L’autre entreprise sud-coréenne KIA est en tête au Panama, en Israël, en Iraq et en Syrie.
– Pour les entreprises américaines, Ford est choisie par le Canada, les Etats-Unis, le Venezuela et le Nigeria ; Chevrolet l’étant par l’Equateur, le Chili, le Brésil et l’Egypte.
– Hors d’Europe, Renault séduit la Colombie, Peugeot la Guyane Française, Fiat l’Angola et Mercedes le Turkménistan.
– Les entreprises chinoises en têtes sont Wuling (Chine), Lifan (Ethiopie) et ZX Auto (Libye).
– Deux pays plébiscitent une marque nationale : SAIPA pour l’Iran et Perodua pour la Malaisie.
