Le journal Napi Gazdasag signale que les médecins ont découvert une infection inconnue chez 50 immigrés clandestins qui demandaient aux autorités le statut de réfugié.
Les risques sanitaires liés à l’afflux d’immigrés sur tout le continent européen sont gravement sous-estimés. Depuis le début de l’année, les hôpitaux hongrois ont examiné près de 2 700 ressortissants du tiers-monde parmi lesquels au moins 50 sont atteints d’une infection inconnue, a confirmé le département de la santé hongrois qui informe également que plusieurs migrants qui ont fait une demande pour obtenir le statut de réfugié souffrent de diverses maladies telles que le typhus abdominal, la fièvre parathyphique, l’hépatite A et B, la syphilis ou le SIDA.
L’évaluation des risques de contamination est insuffisante car ces examens médicaux ne couvrent qu’une petite partie des immigrés arrivés sur le sol hongrois.
Selon le ministère des Affaires étrangères hongrois, plus de 100 000 migrants sont entrés dans le pays depuis le début de l’année. La plupart de ces immigrés font une demande d’asile, mais cherchent ensuite à se déplacer vers d’autres pays européens.
Le gouvernement hongrois fait en ce moment ériger une clôture de 4 mètres de haut sur les 175 km de frontière avec la Serbie.
