Le blog maçonnique de L’Express nous apprend que le 6 février dernier, Christian Estrosi, le Maire LR de Nice, accompagné de son Premier Adjoint Philippe Pradal, a été l’invité d’honneur d’une Tenue Blanche Fermée (réservée aux francs-maçons) organisée par la Loge Garibaldi (dont les membres revêtent toujours une chemise rouge et un foulard noir… comme leur héros Guiseppe Garibaldi) du Grand Orient de France (GODF).
La réunion maçonnique s’est déroulée au temple niçois de l’obédience occulte, dans le quartier du Port. Christian Estrosi, ancien ministre de l’Industrie de Nicolas Sarkozy, a « planché » sur le thème «la laïcité et la citoyenneté face au communautarisme et à la radicalisation» avant de répondre aux questions.
Estrosi, dont on sait qu’il est aussi très proche du CRIF et du B’naï B’rith, a été initié à la GLNF en 1983. Son beau-père appartenait à une loge niçoise du GODF.
Devant les francs-maçons du GODF, Christian Estrosi a rendu hommage à René Cassin et Simone Veil, déclarant notamment «Je garde pour ces deux personnages tutélaires, l’un Résistant et juriste de la France Libre, l’autre ancienne déportée devenue héroïne du combat des femmes, une révérence s’imposant à mes actes de premier magistrat.»
Sur la Franc-Maçonnerie, Estrosi a déclaré :
«Le rôle du maire est de protéger ses concitoyens, dans un environnement et des conditions chaque année plus complexes. Permettez-moi d’y voir un lien d’exigence avec le rôle du Vénérable Maître de la loge.»
«Car le rôle de la Franc Maçonnerie, et celui que l’activité politique devrait assumer, est avant tout, je crois, de former.»
«La Cinquième ville de France a besoin de la Maçonnerie.»
