Les assises chrétiennes de l’écologie ont eu lieu au parc des expositions de Saint-Etienne du 28 au 30 août.
Elles ont bénéficié de bien moins de couverture médiatique que l’université d’été organisée par Mgr Rey avec la participation de Marion Maréchal-Le Pen
Pourtant, il y avait beaucoup à dire à propos de ces Assises chrétiennes de l’écologie organisées par le diocèse de Saint-Étienne en présence notamment de Corinne Lepage, présidente du parti LRC-Cap21, de Jo Spiegel, maire de Kingersheim, conseiller général du Haut-Rhin et président de la Métropole Rhin-Rhône, ex-membre du PS ou encore de Benoît Leclair, vice-président Rhône-Alpes délégué à l’énergie et au climat EELV.
Sur les photos de l’événement, on cherche en vain la moindre croix. Seule la terre apparaît partout, comme s’il s’agissait de rendre un culte païen à la déesse Gaïa.
Le dimanche, Mgr Dominique Lebrun a tout de même « présidé » une messe, si on peut l’appeler ainsi.
Ensuite se tenait l’inévitable « conférence inter-religieuse sur l’engagement des religions en faveur de l’écologie ».
