Burkina Faso – L’ambassade de France et l’Institut français sont visés par des attaques armées, actuellement en cours ce vendredi matin dans le centre de Ouagadougou, au Burkina Faso. L’état major des armées burkinabés et la primature (maison du premier ministre) sont également visés.
Cinq hommes armés sont sortis d’une voiture et ont ouvert le feu sur des passants avant de se diriger vers l’ambassade de France dans le centre de la capitale du Burkina Faso.
Selon le correspondant de l’AFP sur place, des échanges de tirs intenses ont lieu et des unités de gendarmerie et de l’armée sont déployés.
D’autres témoignages signalent une explosion près de l’état-major des armées burkinabé et de l’institut français, à environ un kilomètre de cette première attaque, toujours dans le centre de la capitale burkinabé.
L’ambassadeur de France au Burkina Faso appelle les Français à la « prudence absolue » et à « rester dans un endroit sûr ».
