Argentine – Une manifestation annuelle pro-avortement a une fois de plus dégénéré en violences antichrétiennes. Une foule hystérique menée par des femmes dénudées et des activistes d’extrême gauche a tenté de profaner la Cathédrale de Mar del Plata la nuit dernière.
Des catholiques ont tenté de constituer un rempart humain devant l’entrée de la cathédrale, récitant le chapelet pendant que la foule en furie faisait chuter les grilles de protection qui entourent la cathédrale. Les catholiques ont alors été assaillis de toutes parts. C’est au stade ultime précédant le lynchage que la police est intervenue pour repousser les manifestantes.
Cette année, les autorités avaient posté des policiers autour de la cathédrale mais ils ne sont intervenus que tardivement, après avoir laissé la situation se dégrader gravement. La police a finalement repoussé les viragos féministes en tirant des balles en caoutchouc et des gaz lacrymogènes. Les manifestantes les plus violentes ont été arrêtées, mais relâchées peu après.
